This armchair takes inspiration from Marco Zanus' Italian design from the 1950s. In the 1960s, a variation of this design was created in Czechoslovakia, with clear references to the original. Despite its size, the chair is very comfortable and its shape doesn't create a sense of bulkiness. Our workshop offers replicas of this piece, available in any upholstery fabric with optional staining and wooden leg materials. The Romo upholstery material is used for the current exhibit, but the internal filling can be customized with memory foam for added comfort. We can also make a larger version for taller individuals upon request.
